The AHEI was developed by Harvard researchers as an alternative to the US Food Pyramid. It is characterized by prioritizing white meats and fish over red meat, whole grains over refined grains, and unsaturated fats over saturated ones. -- Ortiz, MS, RD *The FRUGAL Dietitian* <http://www.thefrugaldietitian.com> Check out my blog: mixture of deals and nutrition Follow this woman's weight loss Journey <http://wemustgethealthyonedayatatime.blogspot.com/>*Getting Healthy One Day at a Time <http://wemustgethealthyonedayatatime.blogspot.com/> *
