Guest guest
I agree that having off-topic things is a bit frustrating as I take all new messages and save them to disk to read offline. Sorting through the list and seeing the repeats of replies is danged near mind-numbing. Other things I loathe.... 1) use of " lose and loose " . You lose weight to have loose clothes, NOT the other way around! 2) use of " effect and affect " . The effect of losing weight will affect my life. You can have an effect on my life based on how you affect my feelings in how you treat me. Wait, is that right? Of course it is! 3) Use of some fancy " signature " design thingy (especially when it gets repeated many times during a reply). 4) Seeing spam messages and everyone has to reply to it. 5) Individuals that say they get stalled on plateaus and CAN'T lose anymore. C'mon...1 of 2 things must happen...a) eat fewer calories than it takes to maintain your weight, or expend more calories than it takes to maintain your weight. <taking one of my meds now> There, feeling better now.... In answer to your question, does the moderator have the ability to monitor and delete inappropriate stuff? If so, how do you define that term? Except for the software ads and the ads on enlargement of a specific piece of male anatomy (you gals really don't care about that, do you?), what is inappropriate is purely subjective. I'll stop now. <The crowd gasps, " Thank gawd " .> Have a great day all! I will, now that the meds are kicking in. <cheesy grin> Bob half a century old in 50 days (eligible for AARP) slow metabolism, tooooo fat (In Jan, 436 when I joined WW) Started SBD at my cardiologists request about 5 weeks ago after the angiogram. Have lost 60 pounds of ugly fat (32 as an SBD'er). Goal? A slimmer and more healthy me. Ain't concentratin' on no numbers. > There may even be a rule against sending things like that - I'm not sure.
