We still have not been able to do the 24 hour saliva test.

Hopefully, next week. I had an am cortisol test done last year and

it was 10 with lab range 7 - 25. So I think I needed adrenal support

a year ago and the doctor said no. Any suggestions would be

appreciated. My ferritin is alittle low and my doctor just told me

to add iron to my multi.

Glad you're getting the saliva test....my doctor always suspects

adrenal fatuigue when the T3 gets that high and the pteient still

does not feel well. Good luck taking that test...I know, it's a

pain.

Deborah,

My ALT liver enzymes were somewhat elevated when I was on Armour. Armour

did not work for me....I tried every dose possible. I felt so bad on it I

wanted to die. I felt better on nothing than on Armour. I am now taking

levoxyl/cytomel and feeling much better but still not optimized. Also take iron

because

my ferritin was low too.

I know of a lot of women who have inexplicably high liver enzymes

during peri-meno....cholesterol, b/p, weight gain, so many variables

seem to go totally out of whack during this time of life...then, 6

months or a year later, they test you again and everything has

returned to normal...even my doc has described this happening. So,

who can tell...I doubt they will find the cause for this happening.

Good luck Deborah!!
