Thank-You Topper,

.....From your other post, I understand then that you are taking 2 grains of

natural thyroid (similar to armour? what is this?... and is it prescription

only also?) but when you take nutrimed you have to take 2-1/2 grain to get the

same benefit. That helps me determine a how I might adjust mine thanks!

I just found out about a product called westroid sp? and on my Kroger

prescription (I got 360 tablets of 120 mg Armour for 89.19) it said ask for

generic to save 55.40 and so I called the pharmacy and asked for this generic (I

think made by western research? don't know what the name of it is though) and

they had to call my doctor and my doctor said I couldn't have the generic

because

it wasn't stable usp standard..but it was printed out on my kroger

prescription slip. Maybe the doctor just doesn't like it. Anyway... I am so

glad that

I've found this group...it is so nice to feel connected with other like minded

people!

Blessings,

Loriann

then wait to answer any more questions that you may have.....

Not avoiding.. but I may have already covered what you are wondering in

that post.

You're a bit off... the generic is a product from Time-Cap labs in

Farmingdale in New York... a friend buys them in Mexico when she goes

down to visit... they are prescription grade....

2 1/2 grain of the Generic prescription grade is about equal to 4 grain

(two tabs) of the Nutri-meds. That's going by symptoms.

Personally... all the thyroid meds seem to dose a bit differently.. they

have different fillers and binders too... I'm starting to think as long

as they have whole desiccated raw thyroid that they are all good.. you

just have to determine potency equivalency.... That is just an opinion...

please don't anyone shoot me, okay?
