Guest guest
Dan, does your voice mate beep. I got one in september and it certainly does not beep. Only when you turn it on. but there is no beep when you apply blood. and I have started to call my accucheck an inaccucheck. I can never tell if it is telling the truth, nor if it's is lying. I heard they were developing a new meter, but I haven't heard if it has been completed or not. I am never sure of the reading s I get from the inaccucheck. and it is bad when you can't trust the 600 dollar inaccucheck. My opinion, Dave > > " Voicemate finally bit the bullet and it's time for another meter. We > have another Accuchek Advantage which works just fine " > > Is it the voice box or the meter that is bad? Guest guest
Your opinion about the inaccucheck is correct. I also am somewhat doubtful of the readings. But, it is supposed to beep when you put blood on it. Call them and harrass them! Re: replacing voicemate Dan, does your voice mate beep. I got one in september and it certainly does not beep. Guest guest
I haven't gotten around to calling them which I think will probably be better than going to their site (I actually did this). As far as swapping the meters, yes, that's an obvious thing to do, however, the Voicemate I have is at least 10, probably 11 or 12 years old and it is not the same size. It is narrower. It even uses different batteries, i.e. it uses those round camera batteries (not sure what they call them). I'm refering to the Accucheck Advantage meter, but having said that it is smaller, I am obviously going to need the voice box too since it must now work with the newer (i.e. different size) meters. Anyway, I'll put something up here on the list when I get around to calling them. Dave replacing voicemate " Voicemate finally bit the bullet and it's time for another meter. Guest guest
Just tell them and I'm sure they will honor the machine and replaace it at no cost.
