,

I am in Montreal.

I think it would depend on what type of treatment you were looking for?

Hi. If you are looking for doctors in the Toronto area who do UAE for

fibroids, there is a website you can access at www.utoronto.ca/interv There

are a number of doctors listed at various Toronto teaching hospitals

offering the procedure.

Hello,

I just joined the newsgroup today. I've been reading through all the emails

and all the information has been very useful and interesting. I was told 3

weeks ago by my GP that I have a 9 cm fibroid and that I was severely anemic

due to the heavy periods I have been having for the last 4 months. My GP

already discussed my case with a specialist and they recommended that I

start on the birth control pill to see if this would help with decreasing

the flow of my periods and to take iron supplements to see if this will help

with the anemia and they said that if this did not help that I may have to

have surgery to have the fibroid removed. I just wanted to ask

erowntree@... who her doctors are in Toronto since I live in

Burlington. I'm ony 29 years old and very much want to be able to have

children so I am very concerned about having any type of surgery for this

fibroid and would like to avoid having a hysterectmy. If you have a great

doctor in Toronto I would really like to know who that doctor is.

Thanks

Sylvie
