formulation of Levothroid. New Formula Levothroid replaces the former Levothroid

medication. The new FDA-approved formulation of Levothroid retains the same

active ingredient as the previous Levothroid. The product is an easy-to-swallow,

caplet-shaped tablet.

Important: Adult patients taking New Formula Levothroid for the first time

should consult their physicians about having the appropriate thyroid tests

performed in 8-12 weeks. Pediatric patients should have thyroid tests performed

in 2-4 weeks.
