I have read Carla Dionne's journal describing the effects up to 12 months post UAE. I would like to know more about those health effects (sexual and otherwise). I am 45 years old, and I have suffered with heavy bleeding for almost 10 years now (am anemic). My uterus is 22 plus week size. Tears came to my eyes as I read Carla's journal. I also have to get in bed a 7p.m., and can hardly drag myself around. I am opposed to surgery. I have talked with a couple of doctors about UAE. One doctor said he uses " foam " now instead of the small beads. I feel that I must do something soon. I am so exhausted. My quality of life is so diminished. Your help would be appreciated.
