LOL Mine grew back from the DHEA - I was on 50mg. for 9 years - I know it's a high dose, but it plus 1 year on 100mg. daily minocycline and GLA from borage got totally rid of the rheumatoid arthritis which I had from age 26 - 44 - made my sed rate return to normal and my rheumatoid factor disappear from my blood - even better than remission - it is gone!! I had tested low for the DHEA...but after 6 months was at high/normal and the doctor told me to stay on it, because I had such a dramatic improvement on it and when I went down to 25mg, the joint pain began to return...only recently, I took myself off for a month - my skin (on my face) got dry, but the arthritis did not return like it had in the past when I would lower my dose..I have now put myself back on 10mg. daily. Guest guest Posted October 16, 2004 Report Share Posted October 16, 2004 Yes.. my head hair is growing back too.... the parts that I thought were a receding hairline are filling back in... and as the rest of it started to fill in I got Alfalfa hair (kinda like a butch hair cut peeking through...)... the new hairs were growing fast and straight up until the got about an inch and a half or so, then the suckers would lay down with the rest of my hair.... I finally had to get about 10 inches cut off the back to even things out.. the old hair was so damaged, broken and uneven.... So now it's just below my shoulder blades... I'm not sure what started my head hair to start growing... it was after I started on the DHEA which was about a month after I started Adrenal glandular.... When I gather it for a pony tail now it's about 50 percent thicker... I can do only two wraps with my little red binders instead of three. Sounds like your body is happy with what you are doing for it!!! Keep up the good work.....
