Guest guest
sy, this fellow tells me they are short handed and are trying to hire another part time instructor. i know the instructor that helps me with life skills and computer is fantastic. he will help with anything whether it be doing wash, making a bed, computer problem, or just listen when you have a bad day. he has a sense of humor too. i know another blind person in town who refuses to see this mobility instructor and another who fired him and got someone even worse and now does no travel on her own at all because of the experience. from Canada Good morning >> >>>> >> >>>> >> >>>> > >> >>>> > Well folks here is the information. >> >>>> > My A 1 C test came back as 10.3 >> >>>> > Just a tish too high smile. >> >>>> > I truly enjoyed talking to the nurse yesterday and she helped >> >>>> > me get started on what I can eat and do. Guest guest
, What your husband needs to do is shadow you on the walks so he can document what is going on. To turn a well known phrase around a little, " What your instructor has done for you he will also do for others. " Cy, the ancient okie.. Re: Good morning les, i have asked my husband if he would come with us. but, he is so upset about these sessions he would like me to drop them and says he will take me for a walk. but all we do is the odd mall walk never anything outside in the cooler weather. today we are both mending a cold and taking it easy so i just went to the basement this afternoon and spent an hour on the treadmill. i use to be in fantastic shape two years ago before i became blind and i know i have losst a lot of ground. if this continues what will i be like in five or ten years? i know with diabetes excercise is so very important. my passion was always walking. there was a time were i walked five miles every day. walking outside was my favourite form of excercise and i hope not to give it up. karen from canada Good morning >>>>> >>>> >>>>> >>>> >>>>> >>>> > >>>>> >>>> > Well folks here is the information. >>>>> >>>> > My A 1 C test came back as 10.3 >>>>> >>>> > Just a tish too high smile. >>>>> >>>> > I truly enjoyed talking to the nurse yesterday and she >>>>> >>>> > helped me get started on what I can eat and do.
