Guest guest Posted January 7, 2005 Report Share Posted January 7, 2005 I just spoke with Wayne. he sounded kind of groggy, but was in good spirits. He said they did not get the surgery done until 9:30 last night-it is an infected bed sore on his tail bone. these are very common in bed-ridden people, but can be avoided if the person is turned periodically and has special kind of bedding put under them. At any rate, he sounded good and is grateful for all the calls he has received. We didn't talk too long as the nurse came in, but he said " hello " to every one.
