Yes, I know 37 is not too old to have kids (my mom was 39 when I was born).

But given health concerns and other issues, it isn't likely that I will. I

live in the Seattle area (WA), but given the amount of pain I am in now, I

am very reluctant to go through trying to find a new doctor, get an

appointment, then get the procedure scheduled. Another six weeks or so would

just not be tolerable for me (or my employer). And no, I can't finance the

surgery in any other manner than the insurance because I already took 2

months off without pay while my mother was dying. And am looking at having

to do so again for whatever time I have to take off for this. The insurance

will pay for a second opinion - but this doctor was my second opinion. But

I appreciate the input.

Darlene, I am new to Portland and trying a recommended doctor on Tues. If

you want, I can let you know how she is. I know that you can't get another

opinion on this topic but maybe she'd be good for after the surgery.

Darlene, I am new to Portland and trying a recommended doctor on Tues. If

you want, I can let you know how she is. I know that you can't get another

opinion on this topic but maybe she'd be good for after the surgery.
