Dear Forum,

MAAS is an academic NGO based in Pune, working in the field of

health policy and health systems research. We have ongoing research

studies in Pimpri Chinchwad, Mumbai and Hyderabad, and some of our

future studies are planned to be conducted in rural and tribal areas

of Maharashtra, Orissa and Andhra Pradesh. We have a programme on

communicable diseases, TB, HIV, leprosy and malaria being the areas

of interest.

Applications are invited from young, talented research staff to work

on the following posts, for our ongoing and future research projects:

1)Research Associate (1 Position)

Desired Educational Qualification:

M.Phil /Ph.D. / M.A. / M. Sc. degree in Anthropology, Health

Sciences, Sociology, Social Psychology and Social Work with minimum

4 to 5 years work experience

Or

Medical Graduate with further degree or diploma in Community Health

or equivalent further training /experience in Public Health

Desired Essential Skills:

Proposal Writing, Project Management, Quantitative and Qualitative

Data Analysis, Report and Paper Writing

2)Research Supervisors (2 Positions)

Desired Educational Qualification:

Post-graduate degree in Anthropology, Health Sciences, Sociology,

Social Psychology, Social Work with minimum 2 to 3 years work

experience

Desired Essential Skills:

Supervising Research Projects, Use of Statistical Packages, Report

Writing, Project Implementation and Administration
