Guest guest
My local Superfresh grocery store recently added a few low carb products including " Andre's Carbosave Crackerbread " which is clearly marked " Gluten Free, Wheat Free " and is available in onion, garlic, and " rye " flavors at this store. The " rye " has no rye in it, just caraway seeds which give it a rye bread flavor. Ingredients include soy, almond, hazelnut flour, water, canola oil, xantham gum, and salt... with caraway, roasted garlic, or onion for flavor. The web site lists quite a few other flavors, including parmesan, sesame, cinnamon, Italian, original, and cheddar. The crackers are thin and crisp but not salty enough for my taste... quite good with cheese or dip though. The web site for Andre's Bakery is www.carbosave.com but it is set up for low carb info and not GF specific info and the " contact us " link is not working, but many of their products appear to be GF and all are sugar free... it might be worth a call 1- if you're interested! julie --- IM/Yahoo/LJ: Maguire708 ICQ: 54035938 NCSSM '91 Antioch '95 IWG #
