Comming off Geodon (w/response)

<<I have been on Geodon for 6 months and was good for the first couple of months

then the side affects started and now doc is taking me off 40mg twice a day to

just 40mg once at night. I almost got off Geodon myself by tapering down but

could not shake it. My question is has anyone successfully got off Geodon ? I am

having hard time I have not slept for more that couple hours in a week or more

and I am a nervous wreck. I am also starting Lithium while tapering off Geodon.

How long can i go without sleep before i ring the bell for a time out? It is

stressing me out that i can not sleep how long does this last ??

** Curtis, plenty of people have gotten off Geodon but to be successful you

have to reduce by 5% NOT the way your doctor is.

It will last forever if you keep going so quickly. The two drugs are not

interchangeable. They're entirely different. Why are you being prescribed these

drugs?
