men and fibro

I personally wonder if men aren't getting stuck with a different (incorrect) diagnosis more often than women. Like with my IC, one of my books said men with IC are likely to get a diagnosis of non-bacterial prostratitis b/c drs don't know what it is and IC, like fibro is thought to be a "woman's disease" by may docs. I think men might be suffering w/out even a diagnosis to validate their pain. ~Charity
