Does anyone have any experience with this? For the past couple of days my son

has woken up in the morning

with his whole body trembling, as if he had a fever. His temperature is normal,

but he does have a small

chest cold. I notice that after he's up and has had his breakfast it goes away.

Could this be some sort

of hypoglycemia? I have noticed lately that my son wants to eat constantly. He

is only 31 months old and

eats twice as much as I do, but doesn't seem to grow very fast or gain much

weight. He asks for food

about every hour...I mean BIG meals...a bowl of macaroni and cheese one hour,

then a bowl of ice cream the

next hour, then a bowl of chicken an rice an hour later. I don't know why he is

so ravenously hungry. I

also notice him having " brain fog " during certain times of the day when he

doesn't seem to understand what

I am saying and doesn't seem to hear me correctly.

This is all so bizarre, but I can't help but feel it might be diet related.

Thanks!

(Mom to 3/30/97...nystagmus, optic atrophy, developmental delay)

That was my suspicion, too, but Dr. Kelley just called me and said there is no

sign of diabetes in my

son's lab work.

Curious...
