Posting for trainers for the Leadership for Results (L4R) Programme

Human Development Resource Network (HDRN), a Delhi-based non-profit

organization, which is taking forward UNDP's Leadership for Results

Programme in India, solicits applications from qualified and

experienced trainers/ facilitators.

About the L4R Programme

The Leadership for Results Programme that aims to strengthen

responses to contain the epidemic of HIV and AIDS by building

leadership capacity and organisational effectiveness among key

constituencies. The programme draws on transformational

methodologies, such as cognitive maps and models, emotional

intelligence, appreciative inquiry, focused conversation , dynamic

planning strategies and others. These tools have been combined with a curriculum

that supports participants in exploring and addressing the underlying causes of

the HIV epidemic, to develop a unique programme that is intended to

revolutionise and scale up responses to the epidemic.

To develop such Leadership for Results trainers/facilitators, HDRN is offering

an intense 5 day training programme as a first phase.

Once familiar with UNDP's Leadership for Results methodology it is

envisaged that these facilitators/trainers will go on to lead

Leadership for Results activities undertaken by HDRN in the country.

Requirements/ Profile of trainers

- Excellent facilitation/training skills and experience

- Strong English and fluent in national language

- Dynamic presentation / facilitation style

- Creative, innovative, open to new ideas

- Ability to unlearn and learn

- Able to grasp and work with complex concepts and approaches

- Some knowledge of and sensitivity to development issues

- Experience of work in development / health / social sector (desirable)

- Experience of working on issues of organizational change and

leadership development (desirable)

- Flexible and available to work with HDRN
