Guest guest
Jaana- I am keeping my fingers crossed for you, and you will be in my prayers tonight and tomorrow for a positive outcome in court. I feel stupid saying don't stress too much, cause I know I would if I was in your shoes. Don't worry too much about Chickie- he's a big boy and has to learn to be a little independent. My cats are attached to me like that, I cannot leave or they go nuts. I can't even leave my bed to go on the PC without them crying and having to be on my lap. Sometimes I have to say no, or I cannot type. They are so used to being everywhere with me, even in the bathroom, lol. I have three sets of kitty eyes on me when I try to pee, lol. It's unsettling at times. I have to lock them out when I shower or take a bath because they either try to drink my bathwater, soap and all, or they fall in. They do NOT like being locked out, but they live. I don't understand why you have to go to court if it was all a big misunderstanding, but I DO understand how the good people get screwed over like this. It's not fair. I bet that judge will see that and see how great a person you are. You work in law enforcement for cripes sakes! If you really have to, you can always pack a Depends for bathroom emergencies when you're in court. I don't know how the rules go if you cannot hold it, I would imagine they have to let you since you ARE only human, I have to get up 5 hours before I have to go ANYWHERE. It takes me a minimum of 4 hours when I take a bath and a shower afterwards to wash off, not to mention putting my war paint on and trying to do something with this mop on my head. My husband has gotten used to me taking so long. I'm usually always late too, can you believe that? I try so hard too, but I have to take "breaks" in between getting ready to go anywhere. It sucks. Stay calm, hun, I'm sure everything will get straightened out tomorrow, then it will be back to normal (whatever that is). You'll have the support of this whole group, who I know will be thinking positive thoughts for you and sending those positive vibes your way. I'm sure your son will understand about his birthday. He's not a baby, is he? I don't remember how old he is. You can always do something afterwards like taking him out for dinner or to the store to get a gift. If you're too tired, do it the next day. You are not superwoman, even though you sometimes seem like it to me! Take good care and try to stay positive about tomorrow. Please let us know how you make out when you feel up to it.
