Actually what transition metal means is a metal in the " d " series of the periodic table - that long, low part in the middle that goes from scandium to zinc on the top row, from yttrium to cadmium on the second row, and from lutetium to mercury on the bottom row. These are the transition metals. The word " transition " does not refer to how they behave in the body. Since as you all know ALA is an excellent chelator for arsenic, which is not a transition metal, you may understand my not thinking the article is very good. Andy . .. . . . . . . .. . . .
