Hi,

Two years ago in July 1997, our boy Victor was born with a mitochondrial

cytopathy (Complex I). His desease has been detected very fast in

hospital in Paris (France) with a biopsy of liver and skin. The liver

was severly affected.

Victor died at the age of of three monthes.

He was our first child.

We'd like to have others children but doctors say there's a risk...

We would like to know if others parents have met the same situation and

how they live that.

Does a prenatal diagnostic exist for this kind of desease ?

thanks for your help,

refards.
