I took 4 units of humalog this morning before a breakfast of Corn beef hash, and two slices of bread. I took my reading on the acucheck and it said my blood sugar was 43. But I felt fine. btw before eating breakfast my blood sugar was 165. any way I took a couple of glucose tablets as a precaution. and took my sugar again. This time the acucheck said it was 245. I don't think that two glucose tablets can raise your sugar 202 points. Any suggestions as to what is happening with the acucheck. after that wild spread, I tested in every possible and it said everything was normal. I sure would like to know what is happening.
