Guest guest
Hi ! I just bought the ww pitas yesterday too. We will probably have turkey burgers tonight so will try that. :-) This is our first week on Phase II - I'm having trouble breaking out of the Phase 1 limitations even though we only did it for two weeks. This was the first time I tried cereal; previously I had been having cottage cheese, and maybe a hard-boiled egg (not my favorite). I used to have instant oatmeal every morning for breakfast, and it would keep me until breaktime, so I was quite surprised to hear my stomach growl! Luckily I always pack a hard-boiled egg for such emergencies. <G> I did have my morning V-8 (YUCK but I'm getting used to it) after the cereal, a little 1% milk on the cereal, but that was it. Well that just figures Grape Nuts aren't allowed, I love Grape Nuts (of course especially with raisins). Oh well, I'll look for something else today while I'm picking up some turkey sausage. Thanks for the hints! B. > , > > Have you tried using a ww pita for your hamburger. Guest guest
There are three books - the original SBD one, a little paperback called Good Carbs Good Fats (or something like that - where IS mine?) that lists lots and lots of foods and categorizes them, and then the new SBD cookbook. lso, there is a paying website that lists updates. This is a moving target, as the diet becomes more and more evolved. Luckily, many who are on the paying site frequently provide others with info. RE: Re: ww tortillas & hamb, cereals etc I'm new to the group and the SBD. I have purchased the book, but I haven't bought any of the groceries yet. I'm going to NYC over the weekend, so that will be my farewell to "bad" carbs for awhile . The only question I have so far is - how do you know what's allowed? Just curious b/c I haven't seen anything in the book regarding cereal, GrapeNuts, etc. Is there a supplemental book I should look for? Thanks. -----Original Message-----From: clbrewers Sent: Wednesday, June 02, 2004 12:45 PMTo: South-Beach-Diet-Getting-It-Right Subject: Re: ww tortillas & hamb, cereals etcHi !I just bought the ww pitas yesterday too.
