Guest guest
Janie, I dropped the Isocort. It was giving me the same breathless, panic feelings the Prednisone did back in April. I was only taking 2 pellets/day. BP started rising slightly. I've had a low-grade morning headache since I quit it. My ferritin was 51 (10 - 232) so I'm taking Floridex. I'll also be starting Nature-Throid as soon as it comes in. The King Soopers pharmacy had no idea what it was. I'm going to start with 1/8 grain + some T4 and monitor my BP. This morning it was 127/74. If it weren't for my darn resistant weight, I wouldn't even try adding T3. My T3 is low but so far, Armour runs my BP up. 3+ weeks on Atkins and still no weight loss *frowns*. When the thyroid is not optimal, it can cause the adrenals to freak out, which was exactly what kept happening to me! I keep my free T3 right at the top, plus I am getting the Isocort, which is remarkably making a difference where I least expected it!!
