Guest guest
Does anyone have a source for coenzyme q 10 in any form besides the soft gel capsules? My daughter receives all her meds via g-tube and it is difficult to use the gel caps..the gel inside sticks to the tube when you open them up. Please help!! Guest guest
Hi Debbie, takes CoQ (chewable tablet) and B-50 vitamins through his tube. I crush the meds, mix them with applesauce then thin it with his Pediasure. Sometimes I have to push it through a bit with the plunger, but he gets 99.99% of the meds. I know they make a liquid form of CoQ, but another mom I'm corresponding with on the g-tube list said Dr. Cohen said CoQ in liquid form isn't stable so he doesn't prescribe it that way. Good luck... Guest guest
Debbie GNC sells liquid Co Q and that is what we give thru this g-tube. It also has vitamin E added which I was told helps the co-q cross the cell wall making it more available. I have also bought liquid at Vitamin World but it doesn't have added E and seemed to wretch much more with that variety. and Complex II-III

Guest guest
Debbie, I get liquid coenzyme Q10 from Vitamin World at our local mall. The phone # on the back of the container is 1-. They are out of Oakdale, NY. It comes in 30mg in a 4 oz bottle. I put it in my son's juice as he drinks this, carnitor and variety of tablets that we crush. Unfortunately the vitamins do not mix well but the liquid form of Coenzyme Q10 is great. Kathy F
