Guest guest Posted October 21, 1999 Report Share Posted October 21, 1999 Michele, Years ago a young man by the name of Greg LeMond had to retire from professional cycle racing due the diagnosis of mitochondrial myopathy. He only won the Tour de France three or four times. I think the only American to do so. I don't know what ever happened to him. I have heard he took up racing cars and was in Las Vegas, but that has been a few years ago now.
