Guest guest
I get the exact same feeling when I take kelp and T-100. My thyroid actually feels like it is trying to move, or work itself. Weird, swollen achey feeling. Maybe it is trying to jump start itself...but at the same time it is an uncomfortable feeling. Isocort is primarily Adrenal Cortex or Cortisol. Can't say which: ask your doc to find out please .........Bezwecken is the manufacturer. It would be wonderful to know exactly how much cortisol is in a tab of Isocort. If it is the entire Adrenal Cortex it may have a bit of DHEA in it but I find supplementing with 25mg. DHEA helps my energy level. Haven't tried it twice a day but I am still tweaking my meds. I tried the 7keto DHEA but for me, the 25mg DHEA was better right now. Sometimes it is best to do one thing at a time so you can know what's what. In the beginning I added everything, now I am in the process of refining it all. There is a supplement from Enzymatic Therapy called Thyroid and L-Tryosine Complex. I have been using it for awhile. Trying different things to see which ones to stay with. I find that if I take too much Iodine as kelp or in supplements it makes my throat feel swollen and my thyroid ache. So I try to get a little but not too much............fortunately I like seaweed so I can get it and other minerals that way..... Somethings seem to feel good when you use them and some don't. Each of us is unique. My thought was to try each one and stay with what feels best to me. For example I find CoQ10 while recommended tends to make my heart palpitate so I don't take it very often. Do what feels right to you:-)) Peace, Love and Harmony, Bev HI Bev, so when I start my Isocort...I will also need to take my selenium and zinc also? Am I understanding correctly? How about L-Tyrosine? I have been reading up on the too and it seems pretty important. I am holding back on the DHEA until I see results from the Isocort and I am totally confused by the 7-keto DHEA. Are you versed in this? Any help is appreciated. Hugs...PattiSue
