Guest guest
Let's see, Lynda. Arizona is 3 hours behind Ohio, so if you normally take your insulin at 10:00PM, then a few days before you leave, take it an hour early one night and an hour earlier 2 night later and by the time you go to Arizona, you can take it at 10:00 their time. returning, it is okay to just wait until you get home an take it at 10:00PM. You might have some short period of time when it is not covering too well, but you can cover that time with your fast acting insulin and then be on your old schedule after that. Have a wonderful time-and a much warmer time than you have bee experiencing in Ohio! taking lantis Hi All, or Pat hopefully you can answer this question for me. I'm going to Arizona for a week and was wondering with time change how should I take my lantis? Hope you had a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Guest guest
Hi Pat, I take my lantis at 8 pm. From what I hear from my sister and Mom it is raining out there right now and in the low 70's. Lynda taking lantis > > > > Hi All, > > or Pat hopefully you can answer this question for me. Guest guest
The weather is supposed to clear up some for the weekend, but rain again next wee. don't know when it iwll hit Arizona, but it ususally gets the CA weather a day or so later. I am supposed to go to the Rose Parade, so hope it won't rain that day. they haave a special section for disabled p;eople which includes ear phones with descriptive video for the blind. It is really neat. Also, they pass out free Star Buck's and donuts! (I pass on the donuts.) Re: taking lantis Hi Pat, I take my lantis at 8 pm.
