Guest guest
Hi. I experienced more lower back pain with my NT daughter than my Autisitic son. After delivery of my son, my figure was almost back to normal. After delivery of my daughter, I experienced lower back pain and had diiifculty turining for quite a few days. I also had lower back pain throughtout my pregnancy with my daughter. My back pain did not continue after I gave birth. It slowly got better. Guest guest
Hi , Déjà vu…. The very exact sciatica happened to me while my son with autism was in utero and the pain continued for at least a year and a half after his birth. The pain was so bad that I couldn’t move one of my legs and needed a cane to get around. The doctors prescribed heat, massage and a muscle relaxant drug, none of which I did. I rehabilitated myself with bed rest at first and then by walking as much as my body could stand every day. There ’s no trace of this mysterious pain left (he’s 7 now) and I did not have any back or sciatica pain whatsoever with my 2 year old neuro-typical daughter even though she was born 2 pounds heavier than my son. It makes me sick to think about it, but I had lots of dental work done (2 amalgam removals and 2 root canals) just before conceiving my son. I was clueless at the time…tears fall as I type. I don’t understand the ligament and nervous system link to the uterus. Can you explain or point to a reference for more info? Regards, Lydia [ ] Back pain/ L4 & 5 When I was pregnant with my one and only child at the age of 39, I had terrific sciatica. After delivery, I had pain in all my joints. Couldnt turn over in bed properly. I thought one of my ribs had been broken during delivery. ( ´Two doctors jumped twice on the top of my uterus in order to force my daughter out.) Months later I started visiting every type of doctor I could think of to get relief from the pain. The worst areas were the lower back area...L4 & 5 area. . A bright Orthopaedic told me how the L 4 & 5 spinal disks have ligaments attached to them which then extend to the uterus. When the uterus gets bigger and heavier, the ligaments stretch and pull the spinal disks out of whack. So many women have back pain in this area for years after a birth. It just occured to me this morning apart from the ligament factor, this is also the nervous system point of departure into the uterus. Could the pain be mercury build-up as a result of the fetus drawing mercury from the mothers body via this pathway. My question to other mothers. Did you experience continuing lower back pain after your autistic spectrum ( I include ADHD and PDD) child was born and was this pain less with any NT children ( non-autistic spectrum) =======================================================
