Guest guest
Just a question - does all selenium stink - or is it just the brand I have? I can't stand to put it in my mouth it smells so bad. I want sugar coated selenium - any suggestions? Patti in MI Re: Thyroid Hormone Replacement - LEF Now this is interesting (see below). I need to get back on my L- Tyrosine, and remember to recommend it to others. It helps with conversion just as Selenium does! Bev, are you doing the Melatonin at night?? Guest guest
I'm using Schiff brand selenium right now... it's nasty... I tried for three days to do it sublingually... can't handle it so I'm back to swallowing.. so it's not you...unless it's both of us... heheheheheehe I do 1/4 tab at a time... so even with that small a piece it's nasty tasting. I handle thyroid and adrenal just fine sublingual.... Guest guest
What kind of iodine to take? Where to get it? Also, where to find DHEA replacement protocol. Guest guest
I got some Liqui-kelp by World Organic at the " Vitamin Outlet " in town that contains 100% RDA -so 4 drops in a glass of water does it for the day. It has a 'decoction of Atlantic Kelp' as number 2 ingredient (water is the first) and they add potassium iodide to reach the potency they desire. I think Kelp is the way to go for iodine, and I think it comes in a powdered form too and people just sprinkle it on their food. I got some DHEA from Walmart just to try it and see if I felt any difference. It was on the end of the aisle by the body-building stuff and Power-Bar protein meal suppliments and lo-carb stuff in the OTC medicines section. I am now searching for 7-keto DHEA which is all the benefit, no side-effects. It is much preferred for women. Do you have a " Vitamin Outlet " near you? Also - a really good healthfood store may have some of these things too. We have a " Whole Foods Market " that has a really extensive collection of whatever your little heart's desire.
