Guest guest
Hi Y'all, I flunked the swallowing test big time. I could have told them that and saved some time and money. ;~) Really though, that is no test to be taken lightly. I've often wondered what would happen if I were alone and couldn't have had help getting that piece of food out of my throat. The radiologist told me that there is surgery for that these days. My hiatial(sp) hernia was huge. Have any of you had surgery for that or know what to do about it? We ( and I) go to see Dr. Halliday tomorrow morning. I'm not used to hitting the road about 6:30 every morning. I'm exhausted. The only test that was not done was the brain spect test and she said she would order that one for sure. I'll let you know how things go tomorrow. If any of you can help me with Dr. Frim's e-mail and what to say, please jump in there. ABOUT THE GAS LEAKS: The house that we were renovating turned out to have gas leaks under it for a good 15 years. I smelled it for several months, but couldn't get to have it checked out. I finally picked up the phone, when I opened the back door one evening and it really got to me. I called the gas company right then. It was after hours, but they came right out. The gas man told me that 95% of people reporting gas leaks were women. Anyway, when they shut the meter off and they said, " Lady you should have been up there with the space shuttle (referring to the shuttle that blew up)! He told me that just using the phone could have been made a big enough spark to blow us away. A couple of months after that, I ended up in the hospital not walking, talking, eating, and just not functioning. My family asked about the gas leak and the neuro said that that could'n't cause any brain damage. I really beg to differ. CAN ANYONE OF YOU WITH MORE KNOWLEDGE ABOUT GAS LEAKS, PLEASE GET BACK TO ME? I really think that was the big beginning that made me so sick. The timing really figures in with my worst attack of being ill. I've never been well since that time. Thank God that we don't live there anymore. HAIR FALLING OUT: At that same time I was hospitalised and my hair started falling out by the handfuls. It did grow back in the sposts that were left bald. It felt like little stubbles when it came back in. Also, I was in my early 30s when I lost most of my pubic hair that has not returned. Please, help me figure the pieces of my puzzle together. Hopefully, I can help some of you. Some of your thoughts have struck home with me. Sorry this got so long, again. In His name, Kay Deep in the heart of Texas Dallas/Ft.
