Guest guest
Ora, Thank you so much for your response and the article. I am so desperate for relief. I have severe dysesthetic vulvodynia with clitoral pain, vulvar vestibulitis and also Levator Ani Sydrome (pelvic floor muscle spasms). For the past week, I have had severe redness, burning, rawness and itching from the clitoral to the rectal area ( even on the labia- where the hair is). Last night and most of today I have been in constant tears from the pain. The redness changes, but last night and today the entire vestibule had obvious red focal point erythema. However, it never looks that bad on the day I see my doctor. I do have a good OB/GYN doctor and he is doing everything he can to help me. I am unfortunately, not a candidate for surgery because it is suppose to only be rec. to individuals with pure vulvar vestibulitis. I don't think I would do the surgery anyway, but last night I would have done anything to get rid of it. I am hoping to improve the health of my immune system and hopefully the body can heal itself. Right now I feel like I have just lost all hope of a painfree life or even a most of the time painfree life would be great. I am just so angry that we have to suffer with this constant pain and know matter what we do- take pills, creams, etc. etc. etc. -it just doesn't want to go away in a large majority of us. I am so glad everyone is here for support. I really do not know what I would do without the wonderful people here. Thanks again for your response and just listening to me vent a little.
