Guest guest
Hi, Anne. I am from WW, too. You will love the freedom of SBD, I bet. You don't have to eat anything you don't like. As long as it's in the Foods to Enjoy List, enjoy it anytime. You can even have leftover dinner for breakfast. Some hints: Don't let yourself get hungry - eat before you do. Eat your snacks. Drink lots of water. Good luck to you! new here : ) My name is Anne and I will be starting the South Beach diet Monday. I'm a little nervous about menu planning as I can't even stomach eggs, tomato juice, or ricotta cheese. Did some grocery shopping today and will see what I have in freezer for meat before finishing shopping tomorrow or early Monday morning. My goal is to lose 40-50 lbs. I am currently on Weight Watchers and have lost 15 lbs but I have always struggled with carb addictions so this diet looks more sane than Atkins at this point. Does anybody have any really good tips that the book doesn't give or will it be more just trial and error? I haven't told my family yet but they will never suspect a thing : ). Our meals are just going to look healthier. Does anyone have any very favorite phase 1 recipes they are willing to share? Thanks for any information : ). Anne Reminder: The South Beach Diet is not low-carb. Nor is it low-fat. The South Beach Diet teaches you to rely on the right carbs and the right fats-the good ones-and enables you to live quite happily without the bad carbs and bad fats.
