To everyone,

I'm still around.......can't get rid of me that easy. ;-)

Things have been crazy around here, but we're hanging in there. So

nice to have Patty to talk to about all this, she going through the

very same surgery as Rick, just four days before him.

Ah, but I digress. Here's the update:

Rick has not been feeling real good, so to rule out anything

associated with the actual surgery, he had an x-ray last week. I got

my hands on the report even before the nsg, and it says everything is

PERFECT. Yay! Positive changes, good stuff goin' on in there. :-)

So, I figure what's going on with Rick is that his body is sick and

tired of going through this so many times in the past two years, and

has decided to have a " sit down strike. " We'll just humour it, and

maybe it will get with the program. hehehehe I'll call the nsg this

week, and see if he wants Rick to have PT or go back to the

physiatrist. Or both.

I just wanted everyone to know that we're still around and hanging in

there.....I want to be available to anyone who needs me, so don't be

afraid to ask!! (Donna.....you've probably been trying....keep

trying!) I'm writing to a woman here in New Mexico (closer to Texas

than us, though) as she doesn't have email and has just been

diagnosed with Chiari. She is 56 and doesn't want surgery. Anyone

else who'd like to correspond with her I'd be happy to pass on your

address to her!

Hugs for everyone......I couldn't have gotten this far without all of

you, and I know we've still got a ways to go.......so don't let

go! :-)
