Hi all,

Well, surgery is scheduled and now Iam dealing with my insurance company.

Lee sent me some valuable information. and now I need toknwo what exactly I

should do.

My neurologist, who is in-network, requested my insurance company to pay for my

surgery as if Dr. Milhorat and the hospital were in-network. This was denied.

They ok'd me going but as out-of-network.

The reason given to me wasthat this surgerycould be done by an in-network nsg.

I realize that is true but I want to go to the best as this is brain surgery.

And I believe Dr. Milhorat is more experienced than any in Florida. and he is

so much more aware of allthe research, because he is involved with it.

I called the Medical Directors of the Insurance company and left a message with

their secretary to return my call.

Do you think that it is enough that D.r milhorat is more experienced and that he

is involved in allthe new research so he knows more, and that this is brain

surgery that is not always very successful, are good enough reasons to request

Dr. Milhorat as in-network.

Are there any other things that may sway the Medical Directors to OK this

surgery as in-network?

i appreciate any help. Though I have a PPO and a secondary insurance policy, I

am concerned about the expense it may be for us.

Thanks,

Love,

Maureen
