Guest guest
I don't know a great deal about the chemistry of fluoride, but I instinctively feel it might not be beneficial. I've recently started using a fluoride-free amalgam blocker toothpaste from Germany. It has a slightly strange flavour, but I find it really reduces the horrid metallic taste in my mouth. Guest guest
Lindy, I read about the toothpaste in this article: http://www.positivehealth.com/permit/Articles/Dentist/crawford76.htm I phoned the British distributor mentioned in the article, http://www.bestcare-uk.com/amalgam_blocker.htm , and was able to order with my credit card but you can't order online from these people. I've since found a couple of other places where it an be ordered online, but they're both here in the UK: http://www.meaningoflife.i12.com/shop-toothpaste.htm http://www.dentics.co.uk/services_products_amalgam.htm The German company that manufactures the toothpaste has a website, http://www.amalgam-blocker.com/. If you access this via a Google search you'll have the option to translate the site into English (after a fashion). It has information about the trial that was carried out, and if you e-mail them they may be able to tell you if there's a distributor near to you.
