Guest guest
Well the casino thing is fairly new here. Oklahoma just leagalized several additional forms of gambling and struck some sort of deal with the various Indian Tribes here to share in the wealth. The Cherokee Nation has just completed a massive casino on the east edge of Tulsa. I have not been there yet but I understand it is quite the place. AS I hear, they have a prime rib dinner for something like $3.95. Sure sounds like what Las Vegas used to do. They also have a large hotel as part of the complex. The Creek Nation has at least one casino in the south part of Tulsa and I believe the Osage just completed their new casino in Sand Springs, a suburb of West Tulsa. AS time passes I think we will see more and more of these casinos and most of them are going to be enormous. AS I said, " Come on down, just bring your money and we will fix you up. " I'll bet you could even get a low carb meal there! Cy, the Ancient Okie... Guest guest
Well, Cy I could have that $3.99 prime rib-or is it more likely to be old steer? the really cheap dinners in Vegas are not so good anymore. My husband and I went to lunch at the Ablagio. I had a prawn salad and he had a steak sandwich with tea and water and it cost $50.00! We asked them to read the menu, but not the prices. What a mistake! IIt was wonderful food though. Guest guest
Man! It should have been a wondeful meal for that price and what you got. I have not been to Vegas in an awful long time and, from the sound of things, it will be a long time before I go again. From what I understand the prime rib is very, very good. The casino business here in Tulsa is about where Vegas was some thirty or so years ago. They are trying to attract folks and are having some real bargains. I am a little behind n the email since I was not on the computer yesterday. I am reading these from most current to oldest. I would like to see your silver spoon and dish you mentioned to . Now, as for the dinner on the balcony at -30, hmm, I think not. The coffee would get cold too fast. Merry Christmas to all and more later... Cy, the ancient Okie...
