My Note: I wonder what this woman's medical background is? This would be a

great post for a business minded RD...just thinking!!!

Tuesday it created a job focused on reducing childhood obesity and

related issues.

*Kim Fremont Fortunato*, the company’s new director of the childhood

obesity-and-hunger program, will lead a multiyear plan focused on the city

of Camden, N.J., where ’s (NYSE:CPB) has been based since 1869.

She will work with government officials, nonprofit partners and the medical

community. She will also work with the Soup Foundation and

colleagues to align the program with ’s overall corporate social

responsibility, community affairs and employee volunteerism.

Fortunato most recently served as president of the nonprofit Operation Warm

Inc., a Chadds Ford, Pa.-based organization that provides winter coats to

children in need. She began her career as a lawyer.
