Guest guest
Hi , Interesting that you had someone make that comment. I had taped Dr. Oz show and watched it this morning. I will paraphrase what I remember being said. The guest doctor said that people who eat gouda cheese and other forms of hard cheese which has Vit K2 -- reduces cancer risk. The Vitamin K2 reduces cancer risk, inhibits angiogenesis, prevents cancer from growing and decreases risk of lung and prostate cancer. He also said that Vitamin K2 protects against hardening of the arties. The cheeses mentioned also include Swiss, Jarlsberg, and Edam which are made with bacteria that ferment, and Vit K2 is a byproduct of that. I am curious to know others' comments. Gouda cheese I was told the " Dr. Oz " had a guest physician who stated that gouda cheese would prevent cancer and CVD. Does anyone have any information on what was said on the show? Thank you, Mazarin, M.S., R.D.
