Guest guest
Bev, Big call sure doesn't sound right to me. Could he possibly be saying on-call, as in the doctor was asked to admit the patient because he was the on-call doctor at that time? I hear that quite a bit, as I work for the hospital that used to be the county hospital, so we get many patients who don't have a primary physician and are admitted by whoever happens to be on-call. Just a thought, Margaret >>> 06/24/01 04:28PM >>> He was admitted as a s/l " big call admission " to the hospital in early June. .. . It sounds like this is what the doc is saying, but I am sure I am not hearing this right. Any ideas what would make sense here....I'm very, very tired. Many tapes, little sleep, help!!! Thanks.
