Guest guest Posted June 6, 2000 Report Share Posted June 6, 2000 Hi Everyone, I was diagnosed with ACM I with Syrinx about a month ago after being involved in a car accident. I have almost no light touch sensation in either hand and very bad motor skills, I have no proprioception in my hand and arms, also bad balance problems. I have suffered from terrible pressure headaches since 1972, but nobody could ever tell me what was causing it. I have no health insurance and don't know where to turn next. Does anyone know of any studies going on where they pay for the surgery or have any ideas for me? I'm in pain now non stop and allergy season is here, so all the sneezing just about kills me.
