Guest guest
I guess it's call the naional news, which news was it on? Call the station director. Last month a friend mentioned a radio guy saying something briefly and I tracked down the radio guy who heard it from the writer in detroit guy, I tracked that guy and called his editor, talked to the writer who directed me to the politician who authored the legislation I wanted info on. Talked to the politician who authored the bill...whew. I got a copy of the bill and will present it to san diego city council for their consideration. It's just a matter of detective work. I say peer pressure and publicity works. Do we know the woman's name and which national news? gg Therese Barraco wrote: > I hope can provide more information. Guest guest
I just called the WJBK Fox 2 News in Detroit and talked to the reporter who handled the story, Melody . She told me this woman has Medicare insurance only. She feels really bad for this woman and wants to help her. Melody will pass on our group website address to the woman. She is hoping to find a hospital to donate its services and perform the surgery. I gave Melody my phone number also, but I said please contact the group because I am going into surgery next week and won't be available for awhile. Maybe someone will have an idea on how to help her. Therese Re: Re: OH MY G OD - everyone What they kept saying in the report I heard was that it was a 50 lb tumor in her uterus. They kept saying uterus. In the one I saw there was no help in sight. Surely someone with the know-how will do something since it got so much publicity. Wish we knew how to send her some support. The poor woman probly dosen't know what she has. B --- Donna Jung wrote: > Carla Dionne wrote: > > State? News channel? Guest guest
you go girl! great detective work! I like the idea of perhaps donations and maybe finding a doc or two to work from the heart for this poor woman. More press and donations. radio spots are really effective. Maybe women's groups and NOW and a radiothon or something. Newspaper features really help, if they have info about wher to send in donations. anti-publicity for the insurance demons.....gg Therese Barraco wrote: > I just called the WJBK Fox 2 News in Detroit and talked to the reporter who > handled the story, Melody .
