Hi. Can you believe my doc's nurse called this morning

unsolicieted? Doc wanted to know how I was feeling son Armour. I

started on Armour, 60 mg (which is 1 grain right?), half in the

morning and half at night. This past Saturday I woke up feeling

great, didn't really hit THAT wall until about 7:00 pm. So that was

good I thought, but yesterday and today has been back to the same

ole. I psyched myself up to be patient about the results, knowing

that 1 grain would not likely be enough but still giving it time to

work right? So I explained all of this to the nurse, that I really

wasnt' feeling any different etc...She called back and said the doc

wants me to increase in a week or two if I am not noticing a

difference in that time period. He wants to increase....15 mg in the

morning and 30 mg at night. So, that would be increasing 45 mg, more

than 1/2 grain, within a month or so of starting Armour in the first

place. I guess when I read it like that it doesn't sound quite so

much, huh? I guess my question is this......is it to early to

increase say in a week....that would be almost three wks on Armour

before increasing...or should I wait longer? I was on Levoxyl

before. I guess I was ready to feel teh heard palps etc...and have

felt nothing yet. I am very pleased that he called to check and

would be increasing w/o me begging ya know? Any thoughts?

Hugs,

kat
