OH YES!! Last year at this time I was in the depths of despair with afib about fifty percent of the time, overwhelming stomach problems, constant futile medical tests to find out what was wrong with my stomach, severe pain in joints and muscles, headaches... well, maybe that's enough. I could go on and on with a litany of my year end miseries of last year, but I guess you get the picture. This year I feel GREAT with lots of energy and only fifteen minutes of afib in over seven months. Last year I was carrying on my demanding schedule in spite of all my problems, but I was dragging myself and forcing every step of the way. This year I have energy to burn and welcome more and more activity. Friends who have known me for a while, and especially my family, say the difference is quite obvious even in my appearance. I hope I never have to go through another Holiday season like that of last year. I am writing this from my mountain place which I felt too miserable and sick to even visit last year at this time. It's so wonderful to enjoy a hike in the snow and all the other mountain activities which I used to enjoy so much but which last year at this time I thought I might never enjoy again. I even contemplated selling my mountain vacation place. I think maybe I, too, have an " in " with the " man up stairs, " because all of my prayers seem to be answered, as you said, maybe a bit slowly and after a bit of suffering, but eventually answered. I wish all of you the joy and good health I am feeling this Holiday season. Thanks to all of you who have been so supportive and generous with your help and especially to Angus, who gave me the information that made all the difference. in sinus in Seattle (15 minutes of afib in 221 days)
