Guest guest
When reading the part about how food companies have silently been reducing sugar, etc, in their products, I remembered that a few months ago, I read a coca cola label and they had sucrose listed as an ingredient. That's right -- No high fructose corn syrup. Has anyone else seen that too? Guest guest
Interesting. I wondered when sucrose would come back in place of corn sweetener. The price of corn has been driven up dramatically because of ethanol production. Don't get me started on how foolish it is to turn our food into auto fuel! The producers will use the most cost-efficient sweeteners available, or the ingredient demanded by consumer spending. I suspect the cost is the primary factor in the change. W.
