Guest guest
and haven't gone near the scale since Monday, and I won't weigh > myself till next Monday. #########it's good not to weigh too much, because then you see the same all the time and you think with all i've done and theres' no change, and you get dissapointed, or at least i do. and it's worse for me because i don't go by the scale i use the tape measure. since i had a 39 inch waist and a 44 inch bust and 46 inch hips, i have weighed 195. i am now a 35 inch waist, a 45 inch bust and 42 inch hips and i still weigh 195. the only reason the goals list weights because (on my webpage) is because that's what the model goes by, so i figured as best as what i can think of what i would look like. But I feel like I've done pretty good this week. ########as long as you feel that you've done good is great, because if you get down on yourself you may get distracted of your goals and give up and none of us want to do that. if i feel great that's my goal for the week, or at least my number one goal is to stay feeling good and to know i did do well. > > I've done at least something every day in the way of exercise. Granted > several of the days were just walking around my block (1 mile) with my boys. ########that's okay, you're still moving, and you have company and motivation to go the whole way. > With the boys along it takes us an hour to get clear around But that is > an hour that I'm out and about on my feet enjoying the gorgeous fall we're > having this year. ########exactly and you're not cooped up in the house. and can tire them out better than not having them walk. Yesterday - I dropped the kids off > at a local church for a few hours & went out with a fellow mother of twins, > and we " walked the canyon " . It's a road way that scales the canyon wall. > It was WAY past my ability so far. I really over did it. My lungs and > heart just can't take that yet - so I need to be more careful. #########that's true to be careful, maybe you can do some a little at a time if you do it again, and take breaks as you go. i went hiking on an advanced mountain path in tn once and i felt the same way, but if you keep practicing pretty soon it won't be that way. i haven't done that again, but i haven't been to tn again either. i have however been doing more of the intermediate and advanced terrain in our nature sanctuary for hiking. > > I haven't been counting actual glasses but I know that I've drank a ton of > water - that always makes me feel better. > #########you don't really have to count the glasses either, if you drink enough to keep yourself hydrated and prevent some excess snacking that's great. and most of the glasses i have at home are about two servings of your typical 8 oz reccomendation. so if you had four you hit the goal. > One day I ate a few chocolate chips during the nap time, and yesterday I ate > the 3 pieces of candy I found in Mike's pockets #########that's okay, beats the cravings and looks like you're limiting yourself wonderfully. But other than that - > I've managed to not snack during the dreaded nap time. #########good for you we are all proud of you. > > We haven't had any fast food, or soda this week. #######good fo ryou, unfortunately i did horrible with that this weekend. yesterday saturday, we went out to lunch, i did good eating, i just had soup but that's because th emeal was disgusting that i ordered. the soup was great. then for dinner we had pizza deliverd. not so good but don't feel bad, once in a while won't kill me or throw me off track. we did this because we had company. then today we started our day off at mc donalds. oh well, i did my edge for an hour, and did all my crunches, weights and pushups, really pushed myself today and got a great sweat. feel good. ate a healthy sensible lunch and grapes for a snack. back to work so eating will be excellent again, i always eat great during the work week. >
