Guest guest
BlankMimi and Sydney, I just had my third Lupron shot today. I get them intramucscularly in the behind. It really does not hurt. Just an initial stick. Make sure you take all your weight off the side they are sticking. If your muscle is relaxed it won't hurt as much. I have had hot flashes but they do not sound as bad as my step-mom's she had after her hysterectomy. I wake up damp about twice a night, not soaked. Sometimes during the day I get a hot flash but nothing terrible. My DR.'s nurse put me on Premarin just today. I guess they should have given it to me earlier but I am not sure when. This has estrogen and progesterone to stop the hot flashes and to protect against osteoporosis. I did not notice any other symptoms from the shot. I hope this helps.
