Weigh/Measure In

Well, I skipped yesterday's measure and weigh in because I actually forgot

to weigh myself first thing in the morning. I know that is really hard to

believe, but it was a crazy day. My husband is an airport manager and

yesterday was the first day that the TSA came in and took over the baggage

and passenger screening process. So he had to be out of the house 3 hours

earlier than normal. So things just weren't in the same routine as normal,

and it was 11 AM before I thought of it, so I just gave myself another day.

Anyway - no more pounds since last week, but it was also my scheduled

measurement date - 1st Monday of the month. I'm either actually losing

inches, or I'm just measuring myself tighter, or my clothes are lighter

weight than last month. What ever the reason, I'll take it, it looks like

progress to me! I'm going to try to figure out a way to take a photo of

myself today too - just to keep a track of what I actually look like at the

beginning of every month.

My Stats:

October - 205 pounds, 49 inch bust, 42 inch waist, 46 inch hips, and 23.5

inch thigh

November - 200 pounds, 47.5 inch bust, 41 inch waist, 45 inch hips, and 22.5

inch thigh

My little chart that I made myself says I only have to be down to 197 by

12/02/02 in order to still be on target - that is set up to lose 1 pound per

week from October 2002 through December 2003, but I always want to set a

mini goal of 5 pounds per month. That will be hard with it being

Thanksgiving and all, but we can do it!

5 Pounds a month - doesn't sound like much, but it's 60 pounds in a year!

Next year is going to come at the same speed whether I've lost the weight or

not, I might as well be healthier.

Sorry I haven't been keeping up with the posts this week - I've been trying

to read most of them, but it's just been really crazy this week.

For all of you Americans out there - go Vote!!!!! What ever your political

beliefs are, it's your obligation to go participate in the process. If I

can drag myself and my 2 toddlers to the poll where I know they will reek

havoc - you can too!
