No, I don't take Coumadin, although I know well what it is. I am what is

known as a free-bleeder. Cut a finger and it's a pain to get it stopped. My

oldest son inherited the trait...wrestled in high school, gave me pain to see

him get bloody noses at every match.

Hi Judy,

I am assuming you are not taking Coumadin?? Coumadin is a blood

thinner that interacts with Vitamin K. The higher the vitamin K

content in veggies the higher the dosage of Coumadin is required. So

for someone like me, who wants to eat veggies but does not want to

raise the medication, the lower the K the better. That would exclude

many fresh veggies but possibly allow more frozen ones.

And a tip that helped me with my weight loss. A large bowl of

popcorn- no fat added. I popped my own and added some spices. Every

time I felt like eating, I grabbed a handful. Calories were minimal.

Good luck,
