Did you read the book? We don't eat enriched flour on SB because it

needs nutrients added to it because they were stripped out in the

mega-processing. We eat whole grains and natural unprocessed foods

on this plan.

--Whoa down tiger!! Do I detect a wee " tone " to this reply?? Please

remember alot of people here don't necessarily have the books at

their disposal. Keeping in mind the whole purpose of the group is to

ask and share. Just came across to me as a tad harsh (IMHO) and we

don't want anyone feeling inhibited from asking what they feel they

need to know.

However on the same note, it was exactly what my line of thinking

was when I originally posted about " enriched " flour. (white brown or

whole wheat.) My understanding was we should be looking for bread

that did not have that wording on the package labelling though I

admit, darn hard to find...have to go the bakery route and buy it

fresh and freeze it cuz there's no perservatives to keep it lasting

long.
