Guest guest
Did you read the book? We don't eat enriched flour on SB because it needs nutrients added to it because they were stripped out in the mega-processing. We eat whole grains and natural unprocessed foods on this plan. Guest guest
--Whoa down tiger!! Do I detect a wee " tone " to this reply?? Please remember alot of people here don't necessarily have the books at their disposal. Keeping in mind the whole purpose of the group is to ask and share. Just came across to me as a tad harsh (IMHO) and we don't want anyone feeling inhibited from asking what they feel they need to know. However on the same note, it was exactly what my line of thinking was when I originally posted about " enriched " flour. (white brown or whole wheat.) My understanding was we should be looking for bread that did not have that wording on the package labelling though I admit, darn hard to find...have to go the bakery route and buy it fresh and freeze it cuz there's no perservatives to keep it lasting long. - In South-Beach-Diet-Getting-It- Right , " mahrens_rfbd " <mahrens_rfbd@y...> wrote: > Did you read the book?
